The Steel City Games Fest

Help fund the Steel City Games Fest on Kickstarter (and get cool stuff)!

The Steel City Games Fest is a 24-hour festival of new and original street games, sports, and other physical games, returning to Pittsburgh on August 27th-28th. The festival celebrates the power of play to revitalize urban space, foster community, and explore creativity in unorthodox ways. At last year’s festival, 20 games played out over three days. This year, 24 games will debut over 24 hours, including urban games like The Signal, (an all-night chase played out on the streets and over the radio) new sports like the award-winning Silverball (human sized pinball played on a hill), and table top and parlor games like Revolución! (a government-toppling version of Monopoly). Check out photos and more from last year’s festival at www.steelcitygamesfest.com.

Want to add your own original game to the mix? Whether your game is played on a field, a street, a table or the floor, it can be part of the festivities. Submit your original game by filling out this form.
